I'm James, the person behind Biarritz Airport Transfers. I've lived in France for more than 20 years and have been driving professionally since my time in Chamonix. Today, I'm based in Biarritz, providing private airport transfers throughout the Basque Country and surrounding regions.

I grew up in Wales with a Welsh mother and an Irish father.
More than 20 years ago, I came to France for the mountains and snowboarding, initially settling in Chamonix. What was supposed to be an adventure eventually became home.
Today I live in Biarritz, where life is a little more about surfing than snowboarding — although I still enjoy escaping to the Pyrenees whenever I get the chance.
I have two children who speak English, French and Basque, and through them I've had the privilege of becoming part of the local community and discovering the Basque Country from a more personal perspective.

I started driving professionally in Chamonix before setting up my own business in 2011. Since then, I've built up a wealth of knowledge about the Basque Country and the surrounding regions.
I'm always happy to share that knowledge and expertise with you, whether you're visiting for the first time or looking to discover some of the places that are a little further off the beaten track.
For me, a private transfer should be more than getting you from A to B. It should be an easy and welcoming start to your time here.
